Students Grievance
The Student Grievance Redressal Cell (SGRC) functions as a formal institutional framework to address and resolve student complaints quickly, fairly, and confidentially. It ensures a transparent, bias-free environment where student concerns regarding academics, administration, or campus life are systematically resolved.
Objectives of the Cell
-
- Fair Redressal: Provides an accessible, responsive, and impartial mechanism for students to voice their grievances.
- Maintains Harmony: Promotes healthy student-teacher and student-administration relationships across the university.
- Ensures Confidentiality: Guarantees that every grievance is handled with strict privacy, ensuring no fear of victimization or retaliation.
Grievance Redressal Procedure
-
- Step 1: Submission: Students lodge their complaints formally through the online grievance portal or drop written applications into the secure campus grievance boxes.
- Step 2: Verification: The Cell reviews the submission to confirm it falls within the official scope of student grievances.
- Step 3: Investigation:
The committee meets to evaluate the matter, gathering facts from all relevant departments or individuals involved. - Step 4: Resolution: A fair decision is finalized, implemented, and communicated to the student within a set institutional timeframe (typically 7–15 working days).
